About
Translation rooted in Greenland
Tupilak Translate is built on a simple idea: good translation is about more than changing words from one language to another. It is about understanding the people, culture, context, and meaning behind those words.
The company is led by Rene Hansen, a Greenlandic translator from Aasiaat, with extensive experience working between Greenlandic (Kalaallisut), Danish, and English. With a strong connection to Greenland and its language and culture, Rene brings a personal understanding to every translation project.
Translation with a human touch.
Every translation is carefully handled and reviewed by a person. We believe that language requires more than literal accuracy – it requires an understanding of tone, context, terminology, and the way people actually communicate.
“Accurate translation is more than words — it’s tone, context, and care.”
— Tupilak Translate
